The Foundation for Social Change is a non-profit organization that facilitates collaboration between the private sector, public sector and civil society to make a “business case” for supporting social issues that transform our world.
Our main focus is empowering women and girls in disadvantaged locations around the world. We equip women and girls with life skills and business skills for self-empowerment, self-reliance and economic sustainability.
The eLife: Economic Empowerment and Leadership for Women and Girls curriculum is available either as an after-school program, or as an eLife Tablet for Teachers. Currently we have projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Kashmir, Pakistan, Indonesia and Nigeria.
Our innovative content in Indonesia won the 2012 Global Telecoms Business Emerging Market Service Innovation Award with Nokia Life and Indosat.
We Educate. We Empower. We Connect.

eLife was featured as one of the most innovative education projects of the year at the UNESCO Mobile Learning Week (MLW) in Paris. eLife is an innovative educational offer that uses the power of portable tablets to teach young women and girls life and business skills. Our founder, Louise Guido spoke in favor of reducing the gender digital gap in the Mobiles for Gender Equality panel. Find the latest Report of MLW
